Who We Are?

We are Rustle & Still, an independent café in Toronto’s vibrant Koreatown since 2018. We serve delicious coffee made with beans sourced directly from farmers in Vietnam, alongside Banh Mi sandwiches and Viet brunches. Paying homage to our Vietnamese heritage, our menu items are made with fresh ingredients and infused with the flavours and fragrances found throughout Vietnam.

Food and coffee is central to Vietnamese life, bringing people together to connect and share experiences. Our plant-filled café is inspired by the sound of rustling leaves amidst the stillness of the day. We treasure the rare moments of calmness where you can take a relaxing break and enjoy the simple things in life like a good cup of coffee, a crunchy bite of Banh Mi, and good company.

The foods we create are a reflection of our backgrounds and our cultural roots, so you can get a glimpse of our past that shaped our identities. We love to experiment with different ingredients because it brings together various cultures and flavour profiles. Our menu continues to innovate and inspire new possibilities. Our passion is connecting flavours of Asia with the community through culinary traditions and culture.

We’d love for you to visit with us as we foster a culture focused on respect, equality, diversity and connection to make our community a better place to work and live. It is our pleasure and privilege to have us be a part of your day.

#SipBiteChill and creating a community space are our core values!

The best place for vegans, the best place for omnis, and the best place for anyone with an appetite for fresh and delicious banh mi. If you are looking for a quick stop, the variety of drinks is awesome and the pastries/sweets are tasty. Rod, the owner, is a spectacular human being who cares deeply about providing customers with unbeatable service. The vibe is relaxed and perfect for plant lovers. Run, don't walk to this place... you can thank me later!

I got the gochujang tofu banh mi and it was delicious. Yummy flavours, filling portion, balanced ratio of bread:protein:pickled vegetables. The reason this review four stars and not five is because this is definitely a Sit Down At A Table And Eat type of sandwich, not a Grab And Eat On Your Way to Your Next Destination type sandwich. It was really messy. The tofu was falling out every which way. The way it was assembled I couldn't get the pickled veggies and the tofu in the same bite, and it was wrapped in such a way- with four or five pieces of scotch tape haphazardly placed on parchment paper- that it was dripping all over my pants as I tried to walk and eat. Maybe it would been easier to eat before it was cut in half? Idk. Really saucy sandwich. Do not attempt to eat on the go! DO get this sandwich though. It was truly delectable. Just grab extra napkins. I had to rush off today but I'll definitely be back to try this sandwich again, or their other veg option which also looked good, and to sit a while in this amazing space. I love the split level, the many seating areas, and beautiful picture window overlooking Bloor. I imagine it must be beautiful on a sunny day with all the lush plants. I'd love to come back with a book and some spare hours. Great vibe in there, wonderful staff!

Perfect vibes, perfect food Ideal seating spacing and ambience to meet a friend, do some reading, do some work. Bright, comfy, visually interesting (murals, art, local mags by the door, great view of Boor) with enough natural sound mufflers (wood decor, plants, some seating at different heights and facing different directions) that you could very comfortably have a conversation. and also the food is DELICIOUS with great portions. Simple menu with both very filling hot meals and small treats. Latte was hot and well made. Not good if taking a single flight of stairs would be an issue for you. Washrooms were not accessible but were single stall and spacious enough to move around comfortably,
